Generally two or three different proteins and about 6 sides. Several different dessert options, rolls or cornbread. I usually get a pick four vegetable plate.

I'm with Renee the food is ok but get tired of the same stuff. I've tried a new restaurant in Vestavia that is really good. You can have breakfast for lunch and dinner. The food is excellent with good prices and you will not leave hungry. It's called the Metro dinner

I have eaten at this restaurant on a weekly basis for at least 20 years and would not hesitate to recommend their fare to anyone. They have prompt service and offer a decent dessert as well. When you factor in their very reasonable price, Paw Paw becomes one of the very best deals in town. Their macaroni and cheese is just as good and better than most anyone in Birmingham !!
